This certification will be done during a temporary period that has started in January 1 st 2005, until training centres are accredited in the countries of the candidates. After centres are accredited in a given country, only candidates successfully trained and/or evaluated in those centres or by national professional or scientific bodies or government departments, responsible for professional training, will be accepted as European Paediatric Allergologists by ETC-PA. 2. Candidates must submit one copy of their Curriculum Vitae in English, in electronic format to the secretary of the ETC-PA via the national delegate 3. The Jury will be constituted by a. The Chairperson of the SP EAACI or his/her representative b. The Liaison Officer of the ETC-PA in EAP c. Element of recognized reputation nominated by the ETC-PA (this person may vary, and should preferably be the national delegate of the country of the candidate) 4. The Jury may ask for confirmatory documents or for additional elements and may require an interview with the candidate 5. All candidates must pay a 50 Euro fee, to cover administrative costs and eventual travel costs or other expenses of the Jury. This should be paid to the treasurer of the Clemens Von Pirquet Foundation 6. All accredited candidates will be given a diploma Final comments Although this certification may enrich the individual Curriculum Vitae of the candidates as a prestigious quality label, it is simply a recognition of merit by a scientific society and does not per se confer any official title or license to practise as a paediatric allergologist in any European country.
